Mature Student Freshman Admission Requirements:

Provisional Acceptance for Mature Students is based upon the following criteria:

* Have been out of high school at least five years or whose high school class graduated at least five years ago.
* Hold a high school diploma from an accredited or approved high school as specified in the Board of Regents policy section 402.0101 or have satisfactorily completed the GED.

Provisional Acceptance for Mature Students
If you are accepted, you will be required to take the COMPASS test. COMPASS is a computerized placement test that measures skills in math, reading, and English. The information derived from the assessment will indicate areas where you are strong, academic areas where you may need help, and which courses might be a starting point for your academic success. Contact the Testing Office to schedule a time to take the test. The COMPASS must be completed prior to SOAR (Orientation) for the term you wish to enroll.
