Gulfstream Scholars Program for students pursuing an engineering degree from Georgia Southern. Applicants should have at least a high school GPA of 3.0 and a minimum SAT score of 1200.

Hugh E. Darley, Sr. Technology Scholarship for students studying in the field of technology with a strong emphasis in design. Demonstrated interests and accomplishments in music, theater, art, writing and design, as well as demonstrated leadership in the community should be taken into consideration.

Biology Chairs Award for entering freshmen that are declaring a Major in Biology.  Students will be selected based on academic record, demonstrated talents and motivating interests.

Charles Thompson Scholarship available to incoming freshmen residing from Georgia.  Students must be pursuing any major or degree within the College of Science and Technology.

College of Education:
Jim and Ruth Miller Scholarship for freshmen majoring in early childhood education, middle grades education or secondary education.  Recipients must have a 3.0 high school GPA.  Financial need, extracurricular activities in school, community involvement, and prior work experience will be considered when making the decision.

Bulloch County Hospital Authority Scholarship for freshmen who are Bulloch County residents who will be majoring in a Health Profession (Child and Family Development, Health Behavior, Medical Technology, Sports Medicine/Athletic Training, Community Health, Exercise Science, Nutrition and Food Science/Dietetics, Nursing, and Therapeutic Recreation).

Curtis G. Hames Nursing Scholarship for freshmen residents of Georgia whose home address is within the 43-county east Georgia area and who will be majoring in Nursing.

Betty Lane Family and Consumer Sciences Scholarship for freshmen who will be majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences Education, Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design, Interior Design, Hotel and Restaurant Management or Nutrition and Food Science/Dietetics.

Recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, relevant extracurricular activities, and potential for success in the College of Business Administration.

Paul & Ivey Beardslee Scholarship for freshmen from Bryan County High School who plan to major in Information Systems. Bryan County High School graduates who plan to major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Logistics, Management, or Marketing may also be considered. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic record, relevant extracurricular activities, and potential for success in the major.
