Credit Evaluation:
Once you have been accepted to Georgia Southern University you will receive a credit evaluation detailing what courses will transfer into our institution. For more detailed information about what specific class will transfer, please go to the following website: https://adminservices.georgiasouthern.edu/transferequivalency/.
Advisement:
You have the opportunity to be advised prior to SOAR and receive an approved advising schedule that will provide you quicker access to registration at SOAR. In some cases, your advisor can register you for critical courses that are needed for your degree program before attending SOAR to ensure you will get the classes.
Online pre-advisement is available at https://adminservices.georgiasouthern.edu/OnlineAdvisement/. An advisor will contact you and help you select your classes.
You are encouraged to begin looking at the classes needed for your major and consider which classes you might be interested in taking your first semester at Georgia Southern. You can view advisement information and courses needed by visiting the Academic Advisement website. If you need to change your major, complete the information update form by clicking on the Change Major link.
