Daily Campus Visits

Our daily campus visits are one of the best ways to experience Georgia Southern! Your visit with us begins at Lewis Hall where you will meet with an Admissions Representative for an informative presentation about the University. Afterwards, one of our student ambassadors will introduce you to the Georgia Southern campus. We offer campus visits Monday through Friday in the morning at 10:00am* or in the afternoon at 2:00pm*.
*As of Monday, June 30, 2008, daily campus visits will begin at 10:30am and 2:30pm.

Georgia Southern is proud to be recognized for its scenic beauty and pedestrian-friendly design. In order to fully experience what our campus has to offer, we offer walking tours. Visitors to campus should wear comfortable attire and shoes and be prepared to spend an hour viewing the campus on foot. We also advise visitors to be aware of the weather before arrival and plan accordingly. If you have special needs, please inform our office before your arrival.

Residence Hall Tour
Our walking campus tour does not include a residence hall, however the Department of University Housing is proud to offer a special tour of one of our newest residential complexes, Eagle Village. These tours will be offered Monday-Friday from 12:00pm - 2:00pm. For morning sessions, we will provide you with driving directions to Eagle Village following your visit with Admissions. If you are coming to the afternoon session, we ask that you plan to arrive at Lewis Hall by 1:00pm. We will provide you driving directions to Eagle Village.

Open House

Seeing is believing, and there’s no better way to see Georgia Southern than by attending an Open House. You’ll get the information you need about our academic programs, student life and admission requirements. You may take a campus tour, see a residence hall and choose from several academic buildings to visit. You’ll have the opportunity to talk with professors about our 120 degree programs. Open Houses are held on Saturday (Begins at 8 a.m.– Concludes at Noon) during the academic year and feature a variety of sessions staggered throughout the morning so you and your parents can attend the ones that interest you most. For a schedule of upcoming Open Houses, click here.

Reservations
