Georgia Southern University will be on Spring Break from March 16-March 20. We will offer daily information sessions/tours at 10:30am and 2:30pm, but note that campus will be very quiet and many buildings will be unavailable for touring.
Our daily campus visits are one of the best ways to experience Georgia Southern! Your visit with us begins at Lewis Hall where you will meet with an Admissions Representative for an informative presentation about the University. Afterwards, one of our student ambassadors will introduce you to the Georgia Southern campus. We offer campus visits Monday through Friday in the morning at 10:30am or in the afternoon at 2:30pm. Note that visitation is not offered when the University is closed (holidays, inclement weather, etc.).
Georgia Southern is proud to be recognized for its scenic beauty and pedestrian-friendly design. In order to fully experience what our campus has to offer, we offer walking tours. Visitors to campus should wear comfortable attire and shoes and be prepared to spend an hour viewing the campus on foot. We also advise visitors to be aware of the weather before arrival and plan accordingly. If you have special needs, please inform our office before your arrival.
In order for us to prepare for your arrival, we request that you contact us before you plan your trip. In order to best serve our guests, please make a reservation with us within three business days of your desired visit date. You can do so by visiting your Eagle Info Page, completing this short form, or calling our office at 912.478.5851.
Tours can be given in Spanish upon request. A minimum of two weeks notice is required.
If you prefer to attend a Saturday Open House, learn more here. There is one remaining date: March 28, 2015
We are happy to work with school and youth groups wishing to visit our campus. We are able to provide time with an Admissions Counselor who will present just for your group. We can also schedule a walking or bus tour of campus with a student ambassador. To start the scheduling process, please fill out the Group Visitation Contract including the Tour Organizer’s contact information, by clicking here. Please begin planning your visit three weeks prior to your desired arrival date. You may contact us at 912.478.5851 if you have any additional questions.
Note that we are not able to accommodate groups during heavy visitation times like Columbus Day or during common Spring Break weeks.
