Daily Visit | Armstrong Campus
Visit the Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern
Campus visits are offered at the Armstrong Campus Monday through Friday at 2:00 p.m. We offer an information session and campus tour on select Saturdays throughout the year at 10 a.m.
- Location: Guided tours will begin at the Admissions Welcome Center located in Victor Hall with a welcome session conducted by professional staff from the Office of Admissions. After the session, a Southern Ambassador will show you our campus and the freshman residence hall.
- Parking: A link to complete a visitor’s parking pass will be sent to you the day prior to your visit. Please park in any visitor spot and be sure your parking pass is visible on your car dashboard.
- Special Accommodations: Visitors with disabilities requiring special accommodations should notify our office at least one week in advance.
These visits are geared toward students looking to transfer to Georgia Southern from another college or university.
Transfer Fridays are offered on the Armstrong Campus in Savannah on select Fridays throughout the year from noon-2 p.m. Your visit begins at Victor Hall, home of the Office of Admissions, where you will meet with a member of our transfer recruitment team for an informative presentation about the university and the admissions process. Afterward, one of our Southern Ambassadors will lead you on a walking tour of our beautiful campus and transfer housing, followed by the option to meet one-on-one with a Transfer Admissions Counselor and/or Financial Aid Counselor, apply for admission, or complete your next steps. Transfer Fridays are different from SOAR (orientation). You will not meet with an advisor to discuss class placement, credit, or selection during these visits. Transfer students are welcome to register for a daily campus tour but please note only the freshman residence hall is shown on the daily tours and the presentation is focused on freshmen. Pre-registration is requested.
