Why did you choose Georgia Southern?
I chose Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus because I love my home and wanted stay here my first year of college to help me get more acclimated to the environment.
What is your favorite place on campus and why?
My favorite place on campus is the Student Recreation Center, I love going there with friends after class to work out, play basketball, or whatever else we feel like doing that day.
As a new student, what was your favorite part of the SOAR program?
My favorite aspect of the SOAR program was the small groups where I got to meet some of the incoming students that I would get to know as my time progressed at Georgia Southern. I made a lot of friends at orientation that I’m still close with today.
What is the most important piece of advice you would give to incoming students?
Don’t get overwhelmed with the massive amount of information coming your way. I understand that orientation is a very short time frame where you have to learn a lot, but it makes it a lot more bearable when you try to take everything one at a time and go with the flow.
What is your favorite memory or experience at Georgia Southern thus far?
My favorite memory at GSU has been Intramural Basketball!
Fun fact about me is that I was born on Veterans Day.
