Why did you choose Georgia Southern?

I chose the Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University because I loved the private feel of a public university.

What is your favorite place on campus and why?

My favorite place on campus is the International Gardens. International Gardens is my favorite place on campus because it is a beautiful, peaceful garden filled with different flowers and colorful butterflies.

As a new student, what was your favorite part of the SOAR program?

As a first year student, my favorite aspect of the SOAR program is being in small group with students around my age, which allowed me to make genuine connections within my group, and with my SOAR Leader.

What is the most important piece of advice you would give to incoming students?

The most important piece of advice I would give to an incoming student is, as soon as classes begin, get involved outside of classes. Join a club, get to know your professors, go to events hosted by the university or organizations, and lastly make sure your voice is heard.

What is your favorite memory or experience at Georgia Southern thus far?

One of my favorite experiences on campus is attending basketball games with my friends and getting free t-shirts.

Fun Fact:

I play the violin.
