Why did you choose Georgia Southern?
I chose Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus because I wanted to stay in state but get far enough away from my hometown to be able to miss my family. I also knew that the Armstrong Campus offered a Pre-pharmacy, which at the time of application, was what I wanted to pursue.
What is your favorite place on campus and why?
The gazebos in the international garden. I love going there to listen to music and just dance around like no one is watching. I can truly feel free. It’s also where I got to know new people that became important people in my life.
As a new student, what was your favorite part of the SOAR program?
My favorite aspect of SOAR was the small groups. It gave me an opportunity to have some one on one time with one of the SOAR leaders and talk more with new people in an enclosed space.
What is the most important piece of advice you would give to incoming students?
Get out of your room. Even if it’s just to walk around campus. Please get out of your room.
What is your favorite memory or experience at Georgia Southern thus far?
The best memory I have had at Georgia Southern so far is having a picnic with my friends on the soccer field.
I did cross country for 3 years in high school but I hate running.
