Why did you choose Georgia Southern?
I chose the Armstrong campus because I fell in love with the small campus atmosphere and environment it offered. I loved knowing that my professor could get to know as well as me getting to know my professors. I loved the surrounding area and how close it was to the beach as well as the history in Savannah. It was my home away from home.
What is your favorite place on campus and why?
My favorite place on campus is the second floor of the student union where the rocking chairs are at. I love it so much. It is so peaceful to look out onto the campus and see it so alive. It is even more beautiful in the early morning, at sunset, or at night.
As a new student, what was your favorite part of the SOAR program?
My favorite part of SOAR would be meeting a bunch of new people and going through the process together of leaving home and being in college.
What is the most important piece of advice you would give to incoming students?
My biggest piece of advice would be to enjoy your time because it flies by and be sure to manage your time effectively so you can be successful in college and life.
What is your favorite memory or experience at Georgia Southern thus far?
My favorite experience has been engaging in campus life with different organizations and jobs from the beginning and as a result meeting life long friends.
I have a German Shepard lab mix named Burban like the drink.
