Update from August 21st: Fall Minimester II
Students wishing to take classes during the fall 2020 semester should consider our second minimester term starting October 12th. We are no longer enrolling for the full fall term.
To enroll for October 12th, students must apply and be admitted to Georgia Southern for the fall 2020 term and register for Virtual SOAR through the orientation tab of their Admissions Status Check Page. There is no fee to register. Virtual SOAR is only required for new undergraduate degree-seeking students in a face-to-face program. Dual enrollment, transient, post-baccalaureate, auditor, and graduate students are exempt. Students in fully online degree programs are also exempt.
About Virtual SOAR
There is not a single date to complete Virtual SOAR. It is is a combination of information, links, videos, live webinars, live small groups and checklist items, working together to provide you a flexible and engaging experience to prepare you to enroll at Georgia Southern. To get started with SOAR, visit GeorgiaSouthern.edu/VirtualSOAR.
How to Register
To register for your Virtual SOAR, log into your Admission Status Check Page, click on the “Orientation” tab at the top of the page, and follow the link to our reservation website. You will then select your SOAR session – you should only see one.
