Why did you choose Georgia Southern?

I chose Georgia Southern because I wanted to really dive into my undergraduate studies and their Psychology program offered a lot of opportunities for growth in research, professional growth, and internship placements.

What is your favorite place on campus and why?

My favorite place on campus is the gardens right by Burnett hall. When the afternoon rush to classes finally settles down, this is the perfect place to sit, take in nature and catch your breath before heading to your next engagement.

As a new student, what was your favorite part of SOAR?

My favorite part of the SOAR program was the feeling of belonging. Being a new student can be overwhelming at times and the SOAR program showed me that I wasn’t alone. I had peers and peer leaders that I could lean on and look up to for community and help.

What is one piece of advice you would give to incoming students?

Don’t be afraid to get involved! There are so many awesome clubs and groups offered on campus that can help you find people who think like you!

What is your favorite memory/experience at Georgia Southern thus far?

I can’t settle on just one! My favorite memories are the study sessions, and late night runs to the Chick-Fil-A on campus with friends to refuel and refocus.

Fun Fact!

I run a blog and lead worship at my church downtown!
