Why did you choose Georgia Southern?
When I came to Georgia Southern, I had this overwhelming feeling that this is where I was supposed to be. I just felt like I was at home, and I would be given so many opportunities to grow.
What is your favorite place on campus and why?
My favorite place on campus is definitely Sweetheart Circle. It is so beautiful, and every time I go hang out there, I remember why I love GSU. There is also so much of Southern’s history in that one spot!
As a new student, what was your favorite part of the SOAR program?
Going through SOAR, I loved first night out! It made me so excited to see all of the students showcasing their organizations. So many opportunities!
What is the most important piece of advice you would give to incoming students?
Get involved! There are so many great organizations on campus. College is what you make it, and it is way more fun when you are getting to know people.
What is your favorite memory or experience at Georgia Southern thus far?
Having a “favorite” memory is so hard because I have had so much fun so far! If I had to choose, I would probably say the most recent Georgia State football game. It was a home game, and of course it was super hype. It’s always fun to win, but it’s even better when we are beating Georgia State.
One time I finished a whole tube of chap stick without losing it. Greatest accomplishment ever.
