Why did you choose Georgia Southern?

My older sister went here, and when I was younger, I would come visit her. Each time I came, I fell further in love with the campus. I knew Georgia Southern was where I wanted to be!

What is your favorite place on campus and why?

Sweetheart circle, by far (as long as the weather is nice). It’s such a beautiful landscape, and a great place to get homework done, without having to be confined to four walls.

As a new student, what was your favorite part of the SOAR program?

Getting to see all of the extracurricular opportunities that Georgia Southern had to offer was my favorite part of SOAR! I was so excited to dive deep into some college extracurriculars, so seeing what clubs and organizations were here was super exciting for me.

What is the most important piece of advice you would give to incoming students?

Have an open mind! Coming into college is a fresh, new experience, so you have to treat it as such. It’s important to let go of any prior judgments about anything and start fresh! College is a clean slate, for everyone!

What is your favorite memory or experience at Georgia Southern thus far?

Being elected to the Student Government Association! I’m a huge believer in advocacy, so getting the opportunity to advocate for and provide a voice to the student body was (and is) so important to me.

Fun Fact:

I’m double jointed in some of my fingers!
