Why did you choose Georgia Southern?

I originally chose Georgia Southern because I grew up on Georgia Southern football, but the older I got and the more I came to campus I fell in love with the atmosphere of the campus and I was excited for the program I was entering.

What is your favorite place on campus and why?

My favorite place on campus would have to be Paulson Stadium. I grew up on football and loving football. This is a place I get to lose my voice every weekend and cheer on my absolute favorite team in the world.

As a new student, what was your favorite part of the SOAR program?

My favorite aspect was the “Who Will You Be” skit. It was something that drove me to find myself from the moment I heard it.

What is the most important piece of advice you would give to incoming students?

I would say take your classes seriously and go to class. I messed up with going to a class my freshman year and it was not a good outcome.

What is your favorite memory or experience

My favorite memory at Georgia Southern so far is the Camellia Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama. My brother and I decided to go and cheer on Georgia Southern, with three ticks left in the game our kicker Tyler Bass won the game for us. The energy in the stadium was ELECTRIC!

Fun Fact:

I really love anything pickle flavored. Popsicles, pickles, sunflower seeds, slushees, they’re all amazing.
