Accelerated Transfer Program
Georgia Southern University is committed to providing all students with the opportunity to continue their education and reach their goals. Although it is not always possible for a student to start their college career at Georgia Southern, we recommend students consider the Accelerated Transfer Programs (ATP) with our partner institutions.
Accelerated Transfer Program with Ogeechee Technical College
For residents of Bulloch, Evans, and Screven counties
The ATP allows you to transfer to Georgia Southern after completing 24 transferable credit hours at Ogeechee Technical College (OTC) while maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA. The transition is easy; you simply fill out the OTC ATP Agreement Form that will go directly to the OTC Admissions department. You will not need to complete an OTC admissions application or pay an additional application fee. All of the admission documents you provided to Georgia Southern will be sent to OTC for you.
Accelerated Transfer Program with Savannah Technical College
For residents of Chatham, Bryan, and Effingham counties
The ATP allows you to transfer to Georgia Southern after completing 24 transferable credit hours at Savannah Technical College (STC) while maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA. The transition is easy.
- Complete the STC ATP Agreement form.
- Complete the free Accelerated Transfer Program Application.
- Create a login ID and password.
- Select the application type “GS Accelerated Trans Program.” Your program of choice will default to “Interdisciplinary Studies.”
STC will receive your application within 24 hours of the applicants’ submission. Please note that this application is free and should not require a fee.
All of the admission documents you provided to Georgia Southern will be sent to STC for you.
